Bridal Session

January 30, 2010

A bridal session is a portrait session held either before or after the wedding day of the bride wearing her wedding dress. Brides often want to do a bridal session if there was not a significant amount of time during the wedding day to capture individual portraits, or artistic portraits of the bride and groom. This way, there is no pressure to find time to take formal or staged portraits during the day of the wedding, we can streamline the time line of the day, and schedule a separate time later to capture the dramatic fine art portraits.    It is also a popular choice if you do not wish to get your dress dirty on the day of the wedding, but would still like to have artistic portraits (of you alone, or with your husband) wading in the water,  sitting on the ground, etc.  Sometimes brides go to the extreme, and “trash” their dress.  Instead of saving their dresses forever, some brides decide that a fun photography session with their best girlfriends, or their husband is more their style.  they get amazing pictures, and get to have fun doing it.
