yes.  yes… i know.  how ADORABLE are they?  and their little refurbished vintage camper?  yes, it is for real. and yes, they have put all that work into it themselves. and yes, they are the coolest hippest parents i’ve ever seen.  We took the camper out for a spin, and to a secret playground that is so far back into the boonies that i dont think anyone has seen it for decades. but it was beautifully overgrown, it felt like we were in a fairy tale and this was some sort of magical mystical secret playground just for fairy children.  and of course, since Claira fits the bill, it was perfect for her.

We’re in Mexico right now, so we’ll be out of the office for a few days while we shoot a beautiful destination wedding, but cant wait to get back in the office and share some more wonderful things with you!

When I photographed Patti and Isaac’s engagements, i completely fell in love with them. At that time they were planning a big wedding, and I may have let the story about my own elopement to my husband slip ( it was a surprise, he didnt know we were getting married that day…).  Next thing i knew, they were calling me to ask if i could photograph their elopement THE NEXT WEEK! of course i was tickled pink, and absolutely love intimate ceremonies. It was perfect for them- they got to spend so much time together that day, relaxing, enjoying each other’s company, sitting on the beach, enjoying great food, and i got to capture a little bit of it.  And, because there was no grand reception to go to that night, patti wanted to be able to have as much fun in her dress as possible and we didnt have to worry about keeping it clean and dry.  it really is so much fun to get in the water with your dress on, especially if it is flowy like patti’s was. It was really some of the most fun i’ve had photographing a wedding :) i loved their easy go with the flow attitude and up for anything mantra!

I have SO much to share with you all, it’s been a CRAZY crazy two weeks with 2 weddings, a birth, 3 shoots, and a cross country move for us as a family and also a business, plus we’re leaving tomorrow for a destination wedding in mexico! loving life right now and cant wait to share everything with you all!
