Today, Tavish came running into the living room saying “mommy mommy mommy!!!” and curled up on my lap with his head on my chest and arms around my shoulders. i asked him:
“tavish, what IS a mommy?”
“i dont know, can you tell me?”
“why dont you tell me? what do you think a mommy is?”
he paused a moment, thought about it and responded:
“love. i think a mama is love“
