I’ve been so excited to share this gorgeous Sikh wedding in Milwaukee as a second shooter for Jennifer Johnson. I’m so happy she asked me to come along with her on this wedding, it was to die for!  it was also a record wedding for us… 17 hours long! and that is without the mehndi ceremony the night before.  but, Shelly and Zach and both their families treated us with so much kindness, Shelly was never without a smile or something nice to say.  One wedding in a day is tiring for a bride, but TWO FULL WEDDINGS in one day is more than exhausting especially when there are wardrobe changes. Shelly and Zach celebrated the traditional Sikh wedding first, then changed and performed a Christian ceremony.  Their energy transferred right to us, and there were times when i felt like we just didn’t have ENOUGH time with them.   And, of course, in typical Indian wedding fashion, the reception was beyond amazing, with dancers, performances, incredible food, and amazing music.  Tomorrow I’ll be posting more of the ceremonies, stay tuned!
