After Kristin and Efosa exited to change into their traditional Nigerian dress, that signaled the end of the Nigerian part of the ceremony.  They also decided to have a traditional Western ceremony as well, and Kristin’s dad officiated.  his speaking was incredible and so moving.  i caught just about everyone in the place getting misty-eyed… i was no exception!

Kristin must have felt like an African Princess, can you imagine wearing this beautiful beaded headdress?  being surrounded and dressed by Fos’s family?  amazing… just amazing!

The food was catered by Zilli Hospitality Group and it was incredible. hands down the most amazing food i have ever had at any wedding or event i’ve ever been to.  they even prepared traditional Nigerian food (even though they never have before!) that got the thumbs up from Efosa’s family! it was truly beyond…

Congrats to you Kristin and Efosa! I am so honored to have photographed your wedding day, shared this experience with you, and been there on the day you committed yourselves to each other and to God.  You both are incredible people, with incredible families and i cant wait to follow your journey to see how you will change this world that we live in.

Readers: definitely make sure that you check out the Non-profit organization that Efosa has founded, Poverty Stops Here.  it is incredible, it is truly amazing what one person (who can influence many) can do for the world with just a little motivation.
