I usually only post once every two weeks (the next regularly scheduled post would be on tuesday february 8th) but because of some seriously high demand, i’m going to cover manual settings. This will not be a small post- more of an epic, The Odyssey and the Iliad meets all of Shakespeare’s works type of all inclusive post. I may have to actually insert an intermission. But, I promise to make it understandable to anyone who’s just starting out, or maybe turn the light on for some of you that have been shooting for a while but maybe haven’t actually read your manual (by the way GO READ YOUR MANUAL FIRST! seriously. not joking.) Then, after that awful, but totally enlightening post, we’ve got some seriously fun things (can you say… DIY camera bag?) coming up in february!

Well..My hubby and I are joining another couple for a weekend at the Kalahari sans children. I know, a resort geared toward children doesn’t sound all that great, but here’s why I’m excited. 1. We will be going out for dinner and drinks in the same building I’m getting ready in, meaning I don’t have to go out in the snow, meaning I went out and bought an entire outfit that is super sexy–the kind of clothes I would normally never wear in public! 2. There is a water park and laser tag. uh, awesome!
