not that i expect every wedding i shoot to be the same, but i LOVE that the three weddings i shot in Wisconsin last month were so completely different. each one had hired the photobooth for the reception, each one dustin and i were both filming/photographing, each one around the same time of day, each one in madison (or close by). but they each carried their own completely different style and character. Danielle and Erics wedding was so.much.fun. and not that my other weddings weren’t fun, but that was the common theme throughout this wedding! everything from the party bus, to the photobooth, to walking down the middle of state street by the capital with the bridal party clapping loudly and doing cheers to draw as MUCH attention to us as possible, to carrying around giant white balloons for photo-ops…. that is what this day was all about. I may or may not have had a glass of champagne (per insistance from Eric… such an instigator!) on the party bus and it was oh-so-good. hence, the reason i decided to do their ring shot with the cork. and that picture above of the guy opening up the bottle on the party bus? yep… it was his first time. caught on film! enough you dirty minds! i’m not sure he’s 18!
really though, this was the ultimate classy affair. everything from beginning to end (as well as the mother’s of the bride and groom! floor length gowns for both of them and im still not completely conviced they weren’t sisters of the bride and groom) was absolutely beautiful. i happened to remember my top secret ally way in madison (way back from my days in college trying to sneak into bars the backway…. shhhh) and we definitely used it to it’s full potential for some bridal party shots.
and then of course….. the photobooth. this was the most unique one we’ve done (we’re open to ANY suggestions from any bride, btw…. you needn’t use the white backdrop if you dont want to), and it was a smash hit. Dani made mustaches and big red lips and it was hysterical.
and of course…. Dustin and I just couldn’t resist…. hello new facebook profile pic! God, i love my husband. i’m pretty sure this was taken at around midnight and we were still going strong. alternative titles for these pictures could be: ”chest hair, who needs a sweater!” ”button that up!” or “why, no sir. we were decapitated from the hips up right before that shot!”
Stay tuned for the super 8mm film we did of their wedding! it’s being processed and developed as we speak!

The phtos look amazing, I can’t wait to see the rest. You two did an amazing job. You were the number one purchase on Danielle’s list and now I see why. Everyone is still talking about how much fun they had with the photo booth and they are all looking forward to seeing them. Thanks again for working with Danielle and Eric and adding to their special day.
Oh My Gosh!! These are great! I can’t wait to see the rest and the “video” of Nicholas singing Dancing Queen!! What a great wedding and a wonderful reception! These pictures really capture the fun everyone had that night!!
